Marshal’s Office of the Podkarpackie Region (abbreviated as the Office) undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4th April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. Information about the Office’s headquarters

The main building of the Office – Aleja Łukasza Cieplińskiego 4 in Rzeszów.

Oszklone drzwi rozświetlają wejście. Na ścianie frontowej złoty herb Województwa Podkarpackiego. Na nim ukoronowany gryf symbolizuje województwo bełskie. Obok ukoronowany lew symbolizuje województwo lwowskie. Nad nimi krzyż kawalerski. Pod herbem złoty napis:  Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Podkarpackiego. Przed budynkiem flaga z herbem Województwa Podkarpackiego oraz flaga Unii Europejskiej. Po prawej stronie budynku drzewa i krzewy. Za nimi pomnik ofiar katastrofy smoleńskiej symbolizujący skrzydło samolotu uszkodzone w trakcie lotu. Obok drugi pomnik - kamień upamiętniający 1050 rocznicę Chrztu Polski.

The building at Aleja Łukasza Cieplińskiego houses:

The building’s location in the center of Rzeszow allows access by public transportation or the use of public parking lots, a parking zone with dedicated spaces for people with disabilities.

The headquarters of the Office can be reached from Piłsudskiego Avenue by buses 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 14, 17, 19, 22, 27, 30, 33, 34, 36, 42, 46, 47, 53, 58 and from Cieplińskiego Avenue by buses of lines: 0, 2, 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18, 23, 26, 28, 30, 34, 35, 36, 42, 45, 58, 59.

The main entrance to the building is located by Aleja Łukasza Cieplińskiego, which is properly paved and has appropriate width (marked as A). Entrance B is located in the back of the building.

Entrances to the building are located at a sidewalk level, providing easy access by wheelchair, baby carriage or when carrying a travel luggage.

Doors to the Office are opening automatically.

Behind the main automatic door is a vestibule with sufficient maneuvering space. Ahead, a glass door with a handle and a door closer, opens outward leading to the main lobby. The door is within sight of the doorman, who can assist the entrant. To the right of the entrance is a tiflomap with Braille lettering showing the location of important points located in the Authority’s main lobby.

In the parking lot from Lukasz Cieplinski Avenue there are separate and marked parking spaces designated for people with disabilities. A tactile path leads from the parking lot to entrance A and the gatehouse to facilitate the movement of people who are blind or visually impaired.

The street curbs were made as embedded, enabling entry by wheelchairs, baby carriage or with travel luggage.

  1. In the main hall, the reception is located to the left of the main entrance. For assistance, please contact the receptionist.
  2. On the left side of the reception there is a Client Service Point intended for all people, in particular those with diverse needs.
  3. The General Office is located on the left side of the main entrance, behind the reception.
  4. On the right side of the entrance there is an information board with the layout of the rooms in the Office and an infomat showing the location of important points in the hall.
  5. The corridors in the building allow people in wheelchairs to move freely. The surfaces of internal stairs and passageways are made of materials that do not pose a risk of slipping.
  6. The building has two elevators with a hands-free, visual and Braille system, adapted to transport people with mobility difficulties.
  7. Toilets suitable for people with disabilities are located on each floor of the building.
  8. A person with a disability can get to the higher level of ground floor by electric powered platforms installed by the stairs on the lower level ground floor in the hall.
  9. Access is provided for a disabled person with an assistance dog and a guide dog to the building and all its rooms.
  10. There is an induction loop in the hall by the reception.
  11. The conference room has an IR system to support hearing with headphones.
  12. There is an evacuation chair in the building.
  13. There are no Braille signs in the building (except for the elevators) and no high-contrast or large-print signage for the blind and visually impaired.

There is no information about the layout of the elements in the way of handling or voice in the building.

At the entrances to Office A and B, in the main lobby, by the conference room and the meeting room on the second floor, there are markers Totupoint.
In front of the main entrance A, there is a simple tiflographic map on the right informing about the most important points located in the main hall of the Office.
Deaf and hard-of-hearing people can use an on-call interpreter service – a Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter – when running errands, via a dedicated page.

This service is implemented through the participation of a Polish sign language interpreter in handling the case of a stakeholder of the Podkarpackie Marshal’s Office in need of such services.

In order for the stakeholder to take advantage of this service, he should provide information about such a need:

By submitting a completed application form to the General Office at 4 Łukasz Cieplińkiego Avenue, at least three working days before the scheduled date of the case (does not apply to emergency situations), every day from Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm, completing the application form and send it electronically to the e-mail address: urzad@podkarpackie.pl, at least three business days before the scheduled date of the case (not applicable to emergency situations),
by faxing the completed application form – fax +48 17 850 17 01,
by texting a photo of the completed form to +48 609 702 711.
by contacting a staff member directly via a dedicated page.

Applications will be confirmed by employees of the Organizational Branch of the Organizational and Legal Department, responsible for ensuring due service to persons, experiencing permanent or periodic difficulties in communication, in their contacts with provincial government bodies. An employee of the Office of the Marshal of Podkarpackie Region will contact the stakeholder to confirm the securing of this service.
